Dr. Daron Ferris

Director Gynecological Cancer Prevention Center

The Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Center at GHSU is working to find new and improved ways to diagnose cervical and ovarian cancers.  To date, we have detected exciting, previously undiscovered, biomarkers for these diseases.  In addition, we are exploring novel means to better treat women with cervical cancer.

Our research approach is comprehensive by examining prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment of cervical pre-cancers and cancers.  We have a long track record of funding from both the federal government and also industry.

However, we could vastly accelerate our discovery process with additional financial support from endeavors such as the Pajama Run.

Thank you so much for your time and support,

Dr Daron Ferris
